Meet the Faculty: Rebecca Melvin
Rebecca Melvin, Owner & CEO, Double Edge Press
Rebecca Melvin is a writer, editor, and publisher. She began Double Edge Press focusing on Christian themed books in 2005 with her husband Neal Melvin. They have since put out over twenty books and have had five best-sellers for the books’ respective niches including her own title, which topped out at number five simultaneously for Romantic Suspense and Historical Romance in the United Kingdom. Five of their authors are multiple award winners, including four who have won Royal Palm Literary Awards in years past. 2011 was a break-out year for their publishing house where they saw a twelve-fold increase in sales from the prior year. In 2012, their ambition is to double the amount of works they offer and to create a far-reaching, innovative publishing model that will set the new industry bar for servicing readers.
Double Edge Press publishes Action and Espionage; Historical Romance; Biography and Autobiography and all with Christian values.
