If you attended last year’s conference, you know what opportunities await. But—whoa!—this year’s conference will be even more comprehensive.

Atart preparing now. Preparation is half the fun, and we’ve got FAQs to make things even easier.

Mark your calendar for other conference-related deadlines:

March 30 — Last day for $30 RPLA entry fee. Beginning April 1, the fee rises to $40.
April 1 — Be the first to register for this year’s conference! (Registration opens.)
April 21 — FWA Spring Mini-conference in Altamonte Springs
May 15 — FWA Collections submission deadline
May 31 — Last day for the $40 RPLA entry fee. Beginning June 1, the fee rises to $60.

August 31 — Last day for early-bird registration rate for FWF Celebrity Workshop with RJ Ellory.
September 1 — Last day for registration refunds.
September 21 — Last day for regular registration rates for this year’s conference. After this, you will have to pay a late fee. And Sister Mary Elizabeth will lecture you for being tardy.
October 9 — Last day for mail-in registration. But don’t worry you can still register online and at the conference.
October 18 — Registration for the conference is open from 8 am – 9:30 pm for material pick-ups only.
October 18 — FWF Celebrity workshop.
October 19-21 — Conference time! (Onsite registration available).
October 22 — Conference attendees and volunteers who work grumble that they should have taken an extra day off.

In April, we’ll have plenty more information posted to the website, and you can get your registration in early. (Rumor has it that the earliest registrants will get a free gift.) We’ll also post blogs on breaking news: Sunday is conference day. So stay tuned, and we’ll all look forward to October.

NOTE: FWA’s Annual Conference is a member benefit. If you are not an FWA member and would like to attend, we welcome you, but there will be an additional $45 charge. You may elect to pay this charge and not become a member, or, you may join FWA for an annual fee of $45.
