Are you looking for an agent who represents a wide range of genres?
Well then, meet Gordon Warnock. Oh yeah, he’s the featured agent in the October Writers Digest!
If you write nonfiction or select genres of fiction, we invite you to make an appointment with literary agent Gordon Warnock at October’s “Greatest Writers Conference on Earth” sponsored by FWA.
In nonfiction, Gordon is looking for memoir (adult, new adult, YA, graphic), cookbooks and food studies, political and current events, pop science, pop culture, self-help, how-to, humor, pets, and business.
In fiction, he likes high-concept commercial fiction, literary fiction, new adult, YA, and graphic novels.
Gordon is the founding partner at Foreword Literary Agency, bringing to that agency experience as a senior literary agent, marketing director and editor for independent publishers, freelance publishing consultant, and college-level writing tutor. He’s also the featured agent in the October Writers Digest.
“I’m looking for projects in which the book is more of the means than the end,” Gordon wrote to FWA. “Essentially, your book should relate to something bigger of which you are the expert, the one best fit to bring it to the page. I prefer to work with socially responsible books that raise new issues or illuminate common issues in new ways. I love books with strong charity tie-ins and celebrities coming together to promote a good cause on a large scale.”
At the conference, Gordon will also be a panelist at the Agent and Publishers Panel, 3:30 p.m., Friday, October 18.
Nervous about pitching?
