You Can Be on Radio at the Annual Conference

September 22, 2013

Something new is happening this year at the annual Florida Writers Conference, “The Greatest Writers Conference on Earth,” October 18-20 at the Orlando Marriott Lake Mary. Mark Newhouse, FWA member and conference faculty, will interview conference attendees for Author’s Beat, his internet radio program with a worldwide audience of more than 15,000.

While Mark is talking to attendees, Susan Klaus, host and co-producer of Authors Connection Show with 18 million listeners in 148 countries, will interview faculty.

All told, we’ll have radio involvement before, during, and after the conference—how cool is that?

Before the Conference

If you’re on the fence about attending the conference or simply want to catch conference fever, click to to hear Mark Newhouse (presenter of the “Sell Books by Selling the Author” workshop) do pre-conference faculty interviews of Mary Burton and Michael Wiley, award-winning and bestselling authors; Gordon Warnock, literary agent and founding partner of Foreword Literary Agency; and Chantelle Osman, Patricia Charpentier, and others.

During the Conference

Then during the conference, take your turn in the sun. Watch for signage detailing when and where Mark will interview conference attendees. Talk about easy author marketing.  It’s never too soon to practice for interviews.

Also during the conference, Susan Klaus will interview the faculty on our two publishing panels: the traditional-publishing panel and the self- and subsidy-publishing panel. Between them, these panels cover virtually every kind of publishing option. Learning more about the business of writing will be a click away:
