August 23, 2014

–by Serena Schreiber

Do you know a writer 11-17 years old? The place your young friend needs to be on October 25 is at the Second Annual Florida Writers Youth Conference to be held at the Orlando Marriott Lake Mary.

We’ve planned an entire day of high-level education and networking.

1. Our teens will learn from such industry leaders as New York Times and USA Today bestselling YA Author Jennifer Armentrout.

2. Literary Agent Saritza Hernandez will talk about agents and publishers.

3. Craft sessions include “Building a Mystery” with NY Times Bestselling Author Mary Burton.

4. Faculty will also address how to get the most out of critiques, life as a poet, and more.

5. Winners of the Youth Royal Palm Literary Awards Competition will be announced.

6. The first-ever Youth Collection, which is part of the adult Collection book, will be unveiled.

And the jam-packed day goes on.

Support our next generation of writers by encouraging them to attend this unique event. For more information and to register, visit the website.
