Chris Hamilton

This is the Florida Writer’s Conference blog, but I write a lot of the content here. I’m also available for birthdays, bar/bat mitzvahs, and office parties–not to mention guest blogging opportunities. I’ve been a member of the Florida Writers Association for seven years, give or take, and I’ve been running this blog for four years. I’ll be doing a Florida Writers Conference session on cool tools you need to know about this October, and I make pretty decent meatballs.

If you want some of me for your very own, drop me a line.

Also, if you see something by a guest blogger that you like, please contact them. I can’t vouch for them at birthday parties or their meatballs, but they’re darn good writers.

Can you recommend a writer’s workshop, support group, or a creative writing course for me; I am a 62 year old retired Army Ranger working on a 35 year old block……seriously.

    Thanks,
    Michael

Well, given that this is the Florida Writers Conference blog, I would recommend the conference in October or the mini-conference in April, both of which are well-represented on this blog. Beyond that, any recommendations are mine, not the FWA’s. I’ve had good experience with Jamie Morris at Woodstream Writers http://www.woodstreamwriters.com/.

Chris, here is the link to the blog I re-posted your article on. Hope you enjoy it and the comments it produced. Thanks again for the use!
